Description:  The Decadeck is a set of cards with values from 0-10 represented by numerals, ten frames, tally marks, dice, and finger counting.  Primarily for Kindergarten and Grade 1 students, the Decadeck can be used in a variety of ways to reinforce number recognition and number sense, comparing numbers, partners to ten, and recognizing structure within mathematical models.  Students can play “concentration” to match values, “war” to compare values, and “go fish to tens” to practice partners to ten.  Additional suggestions are included on the instructions sheet.
